Music Teacher - 1 Day Per Week

Location: Kent
Contract: Full Term
Start Date: Immediate
Working Pattern: 1 day per week
Teaching: Key Stages 3 & 4
Daily Rate: £178 - £277 per day, depending on experience

We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded, academically successful grammar school in Kent, seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join its vibrant and ambitious department for one day per week, starting immediately and continuing for a full term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who wants to make a genuine impact in the classroom while working with motivated, talented and curious young people.

About the Role

As a Music Teacher, you will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Music, delivering engaging, challenging and practical lessons that inspire students to develop their musical understanding, creativity and confidence.

Music at the school is a highly practical subject, with students learning through an exciting combination of listening, performing and composing. The curriculum explores a wonderfully diverse range of musical styles and traditions, including popular music, film music, blues, reggae, hip hop, Indian classical music, Baroque music and the development of music technology.

At Key Stage 4, students develop their skills through areas including film music, popular music and world rhythms, alongside ongoing performance and composition work.

You will have the opportunity to encourage students to become confident musicians, challenge their thinking and help them develop their skills across performance, composition and musical analysis.

Salary & Contract

£178 - £277 per day, depending on experience.

All daily/hourly rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%
