Coventry Music is looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate music educator to grow our string playing opportunities for children and young people across the city. This will include a variety of teaching and supporting our tutor team across the city.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver music provision for 20 hours per week in Coventry schools and at music centres, focusing on building string tuition and developing new pathways for string players. They will also lead our central string groups that rehearse out of school hours and collaborate with the regional groups across the hub area.

Initially funded until summer 2027, this post will be reviewed alongside the Music Hub Investment Process and may continue into autumn 2027 and beyond. Flexible working arrangements, including part time, are possible.

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and appointments will be conditional upon satisfactory disclosure and barring service checks. All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.
