Multiphysics Research Engineer

About The Role

As a Multiphysics Research Engineer, you will be crucial in advancing the printhead technology by integrating a focused thermal (transferred or non-transferred) plasma jet. Your key responsibilities include:

• Capture ideas and transform them into a finalized design.
• Develop methodologies & concepts, design, prototype, and test the product.
• Design of prototype extruder head with integrated plasma
• Tackle challenges working with complex mechanical, electrical & electronics materials that may pose risks.
• Take ownership to bring the project to a successful outcome.
• Collaborate with the team for iterative improvements.

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in (electro)mechanical, Multiphysics, or Materials engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in integrated plasma and additive manufacturing
• Good command of SolidWorks and 3D printing
• Good knowledge of power electronics and EMC
• Team player, autonomous, and decision maker
• Proficient in English
