Multi-Trader - Reactive Maintenance
Location: Midlands & Lincolnshire
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trader to join a busy maintenance team delivering reactive maintenance and repair works across the Midlands and into the Lincolnshire area.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who is confident working independently and enjoys a varied role responding to call-outs on a long-term government contract.
The RoleYou will be responsible for attending reactive maintenance call-outs at various properties, diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs to a high standard.
The role will involve travelling across the Midlands and towards Lincoln, so candidates must be comfortable with regional travel.
Key Responsibilities- Attend reactive maintenance call-outs across the region
- Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions
- Carry out general multi-trade maintenance and repairs
- Complete carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and other general building works where required
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and work to agreed response times
- Complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard
- Liaise professionally with clients, occupants and site representatives
- Complete job sheets and relevant paperwork
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
- Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements
- Carry out minor remedial and preventative works where required
We are looking for a skilled Multi-Trader / Maintenance Operative with a strong background in reactive maintenance.
You should have:
- Proven experience in a multi-trade maintenance role
- Good general building and repair skills
- Experience working on reactive maintenance or call-out contracts
- Ability to diagnose problems and work independently
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel across the Midlands and towards Lincoln
- A professional approach and good attention to detail
