A well-established national contractor who focuses on public sector contracts.

The role:

As the Handyperson / Multi-Trader on the project you will be responsible for:

• Carry out the repair, refurbishment and maintenance of accommodation, including but not limited to; basic joinery & plumbing, painting & decorating, dry lining and vinyl floor installation
• Ensure necessary works are completed to a high standard
• Liaise with the Site Supervisor regarding work in progress to ensure orders are completed on time
• Ensure workshop, stores and yard are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion daily
• Minimise material wastage and inform supervisor of low stock
• Assist the loading and unloading of materials at the depot premises, ensuring this is completed safely
• Inspect units on return to the depot and report any damages or missing items
• Carry out repairs at different site locations where necessary
• Operate within accordance to all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental legislation and company procedures

About you:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You MUST have a current and valid CSCS card.
• A minimum of 2 years+ experience within the General Building space.
