Shift Pattern Info: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off

Responsibilities

• Day Shift: 06:00-18:00, Night Shift: 18:00-06:00
• Perform planned preventative maintenance on gas appliances to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Respond to reactive and emergency service requests for gas appliances and systems, completing tasks within contractual timescales.
• Anticipate, diagnose, and repair faults in plant equipment such as gas boilers, heating plants, pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Ensure all documentation related to servicing, maintenance, and repairs is completed accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with wider engineering and support teams to enhance overall service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on a variety of plant equipment, particularly gas appliances and systems.
• Relevant gas qualifications (COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1, or equivalents).
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• In-depth understanding of essential health and safety regulations.
• Proactive, flexible problem-solving ability, working well under pressure and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, providing clear, concise, and empathetic feedback to customers.
