Multi Skilled Carpenter / Multi Trade Operative

Location:Central Region
Contract:Permanent (following 6 month probation)
Salary:£15.00 - £18.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours:Standard hours with paid overtime & on call rota

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Multi Skilled Carpenter / Multi Trade Operative to deliver general maintenance and internal refurbishment works across healthcare, education, commercial, retail, and public sector environments.

Key Duties:

• Carpentry, plaster patching, and general building maintenance
• Reactive and planned maintenance using PDA / tablet systemsDiagnosing building faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety
• Providing excellent customer service
• Working independently and as part of a mobile maintenance team

Requirements:

• Recognised trade qualification (minimum NVQ Level 2)
• Valid CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
• IT literate (PDA / tablet use essential)
• Strong Health & Safety awareness
• DBS check required (Enhanced on commencement)

Desirable (training provided if needed):

• Asbestos Awareness
• First Aid
• IPAF / PASMA
• Working at Height & Manual Handling
