MSK Physiotherapy Administrator

Berkshire Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based at St Mark Hospital Maidenhead and Foundation House in Windsor, the post is 37.5 hours/week
If you thrive on variety and the opportunity to work with multiple people, this is a role you should consider as you may need to travel to other sites when the need arises; you will receive generous mileage allowance to facilitate this element of the role. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, who are pro active in ensuring a high standard of service within MSK Physio across Berkshire.
We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service and communication skills, a flexible approach, and who are competent at multi tasking. Good IT skills are essential, and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own as well as working in collaboration with others.
You will be responsible for the management of patient referrals and appointments utilising phone and email communication whilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for our patients.
This is a rewarding role, working alongside a committed and friendly team, in a continuously evolving service where you will have daily interaction with patients, administration colleagues and clinical staff.
Main duties of the jobAct as primary point of contact for MSK patients and visitors attending the department
Take responsibility for digital referral management and patient bookings.
Variety of specific admin tasks including management of phone lines and email, with patient focus at the forefront of our role.
Liaising with other departments and services to support and assist patients as needed, such as interpreting services.
Collecting data and statistics to assist management in guiding the service direction.
Working flexibly in response to the needs of the patients, service and physiotherapists.
Supporting colleagues to deliver a high quality, effective and compassionate service both virtually and in person.

The must haves for you to be considered for this role:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good computer skills across Microsoft and database software.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- An approachable and helpful persona with the ability to empathise.
- Basic knowledge of administration and/or office procedures
- Previous knowledge and experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties, including minute taking
- Knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages
- Knowledge and understanding of the post and Trust
- Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills
- Good IT skills, with an ability to navigate around various systems and software packages, such as Outlook, MS Office, the internet and databases
- Ability to work effectively in a team and to work unsupervised and on own initiative, managing own workloadAbility to work flexibly as required, with the ability to travel independently between locations to fulfil the requirements of the post
- Ability to empathise, be supportive and sensitive to the needs of others
- Ability to use a practical problem solving approach in everyday situations
