Motor Vehicle Tutor - North Yorkshire

Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking to take the next step into teaching?

I'm currently recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Tutor to join a well-established and reputable college in North Yorkshire, with an ASAP start available.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Light Vehicle / Motor Vehicle industry experience who is interested in passing their knowledge and practical skills on to the next generation of technicians.

The college is happy to consider candidates coming directly from industry and can provide the necessary support and guidance to help you transition into teaching.

The Role

• Deliver practical and theory-based Motor Vehicle training
• Support learners working towards Motor Vehicle qualifications
• Develop learners' practical workshop skills and technical knowledge
• Assess learner progress and provide feedback
• Maintain high standards of workshop health and safety
• Use your industry experience to prepare learners for employment

About You

You will ideally have:

• Strong practical experience within Light Vehicle / Motor Vehicle
• A relevant Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair
• The ability to communicate technical information clearly
• A genuine interest in supporting and developing learners

Teaching experience and a teaching qualification would be advantageous but are not essential, as support is available for the right industry candidate.
