Motor Claims Handler

A very successful and fast growing Company within the Insurance industry is looking for an experienced Third Party Motor Claims Handler.

Working in a highly professional environment you will be skilled at building rapport with customers whilst working quickly and efficiently, giving your customers and Clients the best possible Claims experience.

Also they're looking for people who have a desire to grow and develop with them.

For more experienced and senior candidates, you can also act as a technical referral point across their team and provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, enabling them to maximise their potential

Key responsibilities of the Third Party Motor Claims Handler role include:

• Manage your own caseload of Claims, handling all aspects of Third Party Motor claims, up to a value of £50,000
• Clearly explain decisions on liability and negotiating settlement as economically and efficiently as possible
• Evaluate quantum by gathering relevant evidence, adjusting reserves in accordance with company reserving processes
• Liaising with internal and external partners at all levels
• Ensure Customers are kept up to date with the progression of their claim
• Develop relationships with clients by providing a friendly, efficient service

To be a successful Third Party Motor Claims Handler you will demonstrate:

• Motor Claims experience including Credit Hire
• Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
• Methodical and accurate approach to work
• Strong attention to detail and natural problem-solving abilities
