Salary or rate: £22.00 to £25.00 per hour

Contract type: Monthly rolling contract

Hours or shifts: Monday to Fridays, 08:30am to 17:00pm

About the role

Venatu Automotive are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our contracting team, supporting a range of dealerships, independent garages, and fast-fit workshops across Manchester & surrounding areas. We offer ongoing contractual placements with consistent work opportunities.

Candidates must have:

• Their own tools and transport
• The ability to work across a variety of vehicle brands
• Experience carrying out servicing, vehicle preparation, maintenance, and repairs
• MOT tester licence

Key responsibilities

• Inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure reliability and roadworthiness.
• Completing job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork accurately and clearly.
• Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Supporting general workshop duties as required to assist the wider team.

Skills and experience required

• Level 3 Qualification and above in Vehicle Maintenance service and Repair or equivalent.
• MOT Tester Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven experience working as a service & repair technician in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
