About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop operation covering the South West region and the surrounding areas. This role involves carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and roadworthiness standards. It would suit a qualified Vehicle Technician who is confident working independently, enjoys hands on technical work and is looking for consistent weekday hours with competitive hourly pay on monthly contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and system faults across a variety of vehicles.
• Inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure reliability and roadworthiness.
• Completing job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork accurately and clearly.
• Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Supporting general workshop duties as required to assist the wider team.

Skills and experience required

• Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
