Overview

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced MongoDB Developer to support the redevelopment of a large-scale digital platform. The role focuses on designing and maintaining MongoDB data solutions within a modern tech stack including .NET, React, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB schemas for complex data structures.
• Build and optimise aggregation pipelines for reporting and analytics.
• Work with backend engineers to ensure efficient data access patterns.
• Manage indexing and performance as data scales.
• Integrate MongoDB with cloud infrastructure and application services.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, documentation, and engineering standards.
• Support and mentor junior developers while collaborating with delivery partners.

Required Experience

• 4+ years hands-on MongoDB development in production environments.
• Strong schema design and aggregation pipeline experience.
• Experience integrating MongoDB with .NET applications.
• Knowledge of MongoDB Atlas, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Azure environments and CI/CD workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid data models (NoSQL + relational databases).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform/Bicep) or BI tools.
