Your tasks

• Perform operational tasks and maintain our IT solutions, and especially topics related with MongoDB Clusters
• Continuously analyze and optimize the performance of the MongoDB clusters and its databases
• Contribute to improve the IT solution regarding technical operations, solution life cycle, mitigating risks or solving security issues of the platform
• Advise and support the colleagues from IT consulting and application development in all operational topics from the perspective of the database domain
• Help to develop and implement new solutions and are involved in the strategic decision-making process
• Automating tasks, deployments and management of components

Job requirements

• You feel at home doing administration tasks on Linux environments (Red Hat); ideally, also on Kubernetes based platforms
• The administration of a large MongoDB cluster is something you are used to do
• Hands-on experience on large enterprise environments (Setup, coordination, deployment, operations & troubleshooting)
• You are experienced in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Splunk)
• You are used to work on Azure DevOps
• You are team player with good communication skills that enjoys big responsibilities and a fast-paced environment
• You are curious and eager to constantly learn new technologies and methods
• Other nice to have skills: Infrastructure as Code tools, experience with Percona for MongoDB solutions, experience implementing backup solutions for large MongoDB scenarios
