Contract details: Full time. Hybrid working, some mandatory office days required.
This role operates within a supportive, team-oriented environment at London Councils. Flexibility for occasional evening or out-of-hours work is expected, along with travel within the UK when required.

Job IntroductionThe main purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support for the Taxicard and Freedom Pass schemes as part of a collaborative team, ensuring permits are issued in line with London Councils' requirements. Key responsibilities include assessing applications, issuing Taxi-card permits, and delivering helpdesk support by phone.
Role ResponsibilityIn this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Taxi-card and Freedom Pass schemes
- Assess applications, validate eligibility, and issue permits accurately and promptly
- Handle telephone, email and written enquiries sensitively, including complaints from applicants, boroughs and the public
- Maintain accurate records and data input into our databases
- Assist with reporting, document processing and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and customer care.

The Ideal Candidate- Strong administrative skills and experience using Microsoft word, databases and spreadsheets
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, ideally on a telephone helpdesk
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise under pressure and meet deadlines
- A commitment to upholding equality, diversity and health and safety standards.
