About this jobMobilityCo is looking for an Aftersales / Workshop Manager to join our Congleton team.
You will be responsible for controlling the preparation, delivery, and repair of mobility equipment including mobility scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, profiling beds, riser recliner chairs, hoists, ramps, and stairlifts. As our Aftersales Manager you will engage with your team to deliver consistent commercial results and provide exceptional customer care.
Controlling new product assembly, warranty repairs, return of goods and used stock preparation.
You will be responsible for agreeing deliveries with clients and booking delivery companies; also addressing and resolving any after sales issues or customer concerns through timely client follow ups and effective solutions.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and operational performance.
Whilst your team grows, you will also on occasion be asked to assist with unpacking, assembling, installing, servicing or repairing mobility equipment; delivering and setting up equipment in customers' homes; diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs in head office or onsite; when required assisting the warehouse team with goods in and stock control; ad hoc delivery / collection requests. Our clients are often old or vulnerable, so when needed all the team-including the directors-get involved in the tasks above to ensure they are not left inconvenienced.
We're looking for an organised technical individual with supervisory / management experience in a repair workshop environment, but we will consider an individual with good practical skills who wants to move up to a management level.
- Reasonable mechanical / electrical experience an advantage.
- Willingness to occasionally stay overnight (fully expensed) if the client's location is some distance away.
- Good physical strength, as some of our products are heavy.
- Reliable, professional attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Basic IT skills.
- Full training will be provided.
Salary £41,500 per year.
Monday to Friday working (8:30am - 5:00pm), 40 working hours per week, 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays.
