About The Role

• A competitive base salary of £40,178, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000
• A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you'll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you'll deliver first class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

We'll equip you for success from day one - with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Deliver expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostics on the road, interacting with customers on driveways and office car parks.
• Communicate clearly and represent the RAC with pride, demonstrating our brand values to every customer.
• Manage stock, report work, and keep customer conversations flowing, adapting to daily variations in service tasks.
• Think on your feet, make appropriate decisions for each situation, and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of hands on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
