Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team supporting our client based in the London/South area. The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies, in accordance with contract requirements on Mechanical Services. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in air conditioning.
About YouTo be successful, you should ideally have:
- Knowledge of Heating & Air Conditioning Systems
- Strong Electrical & HVAC Experience
- Previous experience as a mobile engineer
- 18th Edition certification
- C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualifications
- C&G 2391 (Test & Inspection certification preferred)
Effective communication skills, high levels of customer service, ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, problem-solving skills, and promoting health & safety excellence.
About the RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Delivering work in compliance with legislation and contractual obligations
- Utilizing CAFM/PDA technology for real-time updates and detailed reports
- Responding promptly to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests related to mechanical systems
- Covering call outs, breakdowns, and emergencies related to mechanical services
- Carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, and emergency works on HVAC systems
