Birmingham based - to cover Birmingham and Nottingham sites. £42,000 per annum plus call out and overtime.

We are recruiting for a mobile maintenance electrician completing PPM and reactive maintenance across office buildings, a number in Birmingham and a number in Nottinghamam. You will be expected to have good all round knowledge of other FM disciplines and general maintenance. The role is a permanent position paying up to £42,000 per annum plus call out and overtime. Mon Fri 40 hours per week. Van supplied, fuel card. Overtime available.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
• To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
• To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
• To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service.
• To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad hoc tasks across all disciplines.
• Basic mechanical and fabric tasks where required.
• Compliance checks.
• Small works projects.

Skills & Background Required

• Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3.
• Willing to complete general building services and plant maintenance.
• 18th edition
• Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
• Must be presentable and reliable.
• Valid Driving license.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary up to £42,000 per annum, plus van and 22 days annual leave plus stats. With this role there is a weekly on call payment of £50 per week (£2600 per year on top of salary), however so far there has been no call outs on this contract.
