Mobile Cleaning Operative at Bristol Waste Company

SALARY: £13.45 per hour

HOURS: 40 hours per week (any 5 days out of 7)

LOCATION: Various locations across Bristol, a company van is provided

Bristol Waste Company works to keep Bristol and the surrounding area clean and safe. We support our city's residents, workers, visitors and businesses, helping to achieve Bristol's sustainability targets in partnership with the council. Our commercial operation serves businesses and organisations across the region and is growing.

Purpose of the role

To succeed in this role, you must take pride in your work, hold good attention to detail, communicate well and be able to work independently or as part of a team. A DBS and driving licence may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning and other related domestic duties to ensure a safe, clean and hygienic environment.
• Clean at all levels, including low level and high level cleaning as required.
• Perform industrial cleaning duties such as mopping, hoovering and using chemical solutions.

Essential Requirements for the Role

• Previous cleaning experience an advantage; training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of working safely and legally, complying with all relevant regulations.
