Salary: £25,949 (Including Real Living Wage Supplement) for full time (37 hrs). If part time and/or term time, the full time salary quoted will be pro rated accordingly.

Hourly Rate: £13.45 (Including Real Living Wage Supplement)

Contract Hours: 16 hours 15 minutes

Responsibilities

Working for us, you will have the opportunity to work in our busy kitchens located in the Carmarthen area. You will assist our cooks in preparing nutritious and appetising meals whilst ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Other duties will include setting up and clearing away tables and general cleaning duties. Working hours are Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks), ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. We offer an 'annualised' pay scheme so that our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks.

Qualifications
  • The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
  • Basic food safety knowledge. Training will be provided.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist with other catering duties.
Additional requirements

Basic knowledge of Welsh (Level 1) is required. Reasonable support can be provided to reach this level.

An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested. It is an offence to apply if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk.
