Job Opportunity: Mobile Caretaker

Service Care Solutions is seeking a reliable and proactive Mobile Caretaker to join our client's estate maintenance team on a permanent basis. This role covers Ealing and Acton, ensuring communal areas are maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for caretaking and gardening colleagues across estate sites
• Keep communal areas clean, tidy, and graffiti-free
• Report repairs, vandalism, and safety hazards promptly
• Attend estate walkabouts and contribute to anti-social behaviour reduction
• Maintain refuse systems and complete scheduled cleaning tasks
• Perform safety checks, including emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
• Work collaboratively with the Estate Services Area Manager to ensure smooth operations

Candidate Requirements

• Full UK driving license (essential)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on duties
• Flexible, proactive, and a reliable team player
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check

Salary & Hours

• Salary: £27,248 per annum
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (35 hours per week)
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Location: Ealing and Acton (Travel across the Borough required)
