ML Annotations & Calibration Specialist II, WW RCX - Product Lifecycle Support

Amazon's Product Lifecycle Support (PLS) offers relevant post-purchase product support to customers, empowering them to make the most of their purchases on Amazon. By solving post-purchase issues, we prevent avoidable returns and help the planet by extending product lifespans, generating positive financial and environmental impacts.

Since its launch in Q4 2015, PLS has grown to offer eight support options, including live support, manufacturer contact, warranty repairs, replacement parts, end-of-life options, and self-help resources.

The PLS team seeks a Catalog Specialist II to support annotations and ML calibrations. This role involves analyzing catalog data and return trends, developing SOPs, troubleshooting discrepancies, collaborating with ML teams, and ensuring catalog accuracy to optimize customer support and reduce returns.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading annotations and ML calibration audits for accuracy and compliance.
  2. Analyzing catalog and return data to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Developing and refining SOPs for processes.
  4. Troubleshooting catalog discrepancies affecting support.
  5. Communicating insights with stakeholders to drive improvements.
  6. Collaborating with ML teams to optimize system outputs.
  7. Validating catalog data and feedback for system accuracy.
  8. Using SQL, VBA, and Excel for data analysis and recommendations.
  9. Monitoring catalog and support content quality.
  10. Participating in automation and process improvements.
  11. Ensuring availability during PST working hours for engagement and decision-making.

    Minimum requirements include:

    • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
    • Proficiency in SQL and Advanced Excel.
    • Experience using data to influence business decisions.

    Preferred skills include knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Datazen, SSRS), understanding of machine learning workflows, content management, and familiarity with Amazon's catalog and operations.
