Hiring: Personal & Corporate Tax Senior Location: Manchester Salary: £38,000-£48,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced tax professional looking to expand your skills across both personal and corporate tax? We're recruiting a Personal & Corporate Tax Senior to join a reputable, growing accountancy and advisory practice in Manchester.

About the Role

As a Personal & Corporate Tax Senior, you will manage a varied client portfolio and deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory work. This role offers excellent exposure across both personal tax and corporation tax, making it ideal for someone seeking progression and broader technical development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing, completing and submitting corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
  • Supporting clients with ongoing tax compliance requirements
  • Assisting with R&D tax credit claims
  • Identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities from your portfolio
  • Liaising directly with clients and HMRC, including attending client meetings when required
  • Assisting with annual filing obligations (e.g., Employment-Related Securities, Non-Resident Landlord Scheme)
  • Handling ad hoc personal and corporate tax queries from wider internal teams
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
Candidate Requirements
  • ATT qualified as a minimum
  • 2+ years' experience in personal and/or corporate tax compliance
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to deal directly with clients
  • Advisory experience or the ability to identify tax planning opportunities
  • Experience using Alphatax (desirable)
  • A full driving licence (desirable)
