Mixed Tax Manager - Oxfordshire

This well established and forward thinking accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking for a tax manager to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong tax experience who enjoys working closely with clients and advising on a wide range of matters. The firm is people focused and prides itself on offering flexibility, autonomy, and a collaborative working environment.

The role:

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients, including HNWIs, owner managed businesses, and limited companies

• Reviewing personal and corporate tax returns

• Leading on tax planning and advisory projects, including CGT, IHT, remuneration planning, and business structuring

• Being a key point of contact for client queries and technical tax matters

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

• Liaising with HMRC and other external bodies where required

About you:

• Significant experience in personal and corporate tax within an accountancy practice

• CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)

• Excellent communication skills and a confident, proactive approach with clients

• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to handle complex tax matters

• Able to manage workload independently while contributing to team success

• Experience with tax software such as CCH or similar is beneficial
