The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary (MDT) primary healthcare team delivering primary and Occupational Healthcare in line with General Medical Council (GMC) Standards to ensure that the organisational and Senior Medical Officer (SMO) objectives are achieved to optimise patient care.

The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Provide general healthcare to all registered patients during normal practice hours.
• Maximise the levels of health, wellbeing and employability of Service personnel to ensure the needs of the single Services are met.
• Undertake mandatory medical examinations and provide appropriate occupational healthcare and advice, and all supporting administrative duties.
• Provide appropriate preventative medical advice to both individuals and Chain of Command.
• Occasionally, may be asked to work and support other Practices within Scotland Northern Ireland (SNI) Region.

Salary: £91,535 to £108,743 pro-rata Pay award pending
