About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a minibus driver with previous people, and ideally student, transport experience to join our Accommodation, Conferencing and Transport Department here at our York campus.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for transporting our students to and from college at the beginning and end of the day. Other duties may include, fleet maintenance and driving for curriculum off site visits. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in people transport will be beneficial.

The successful candidate will undertake daily transport services to and from the York campus at the start and the end of the day. Additional driving opportunities maybe included and alongside the Transport supervisor and other drivers the general maintenance and upkeep of the fleet vehicles will be required.

With excellent knowledge of transport servicing and fleet management, you will have great communication and customer service skills with a baseline knowledge of the Yorkshire area.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
