Job Description

MID-LEVEL PRODUCT DESIGNER (6-MONTH CONTRACT) - FAST-GROWING DTC LIFESTYLE BRAND

  • 6 month FTC initially
  • Circa £50k pro rated

We're working with an exciting consumer-led brand undergoing ambitious growth and digital transformation. As they expand their customer experience and ecommerce offering, they're looking for a talented and proactive Product Designer to join the team for an initial 6-month contract.

You'll be helping shape the future of their user experience across web, onboarding, and retention journeys. This is a unique opportunity to work on a purpose-driven product in a business that values experimentation, collaboration, and creative autonomy

What they need -

  • Someone with solid UX/UI experience who can lead features end-to-end with confidence and creativity
  • A designer who can thrive in ambiguity and suggest smart, insight-led solutions (not wait for a perfect brief!)
  • A digital thinker with ecommerce experience (non-negotiable) and a strong feel for optimising conversion and user flows
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a fast-moving, empowered squad and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty
  • A self-starter who sees design systems, user insight, and iteration as essential to strong product outcomes

What you're great at -

  • Navigating Fidma to produce strong visual and user centric design solutions
  • Running user testing and applying insight from Hotjar, Clarity or similar tools to inform design decisions
  • Working across mobile-first responsive experiences in an ecommerce context (any prior subscription brand exposure would be a plus!)
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with developers, product leads and marketers to drive outcomes
  • Communicating design decisions clearly, iterating with feedback and applying a growth mindset to every challenge
  • What matters most is that you bring initiative, energy, and the kind of collaborative spirit that makes great teams even better

What you'll get -

  • Fully remote setup with UK-based team and monthly meetups in Scotland (travel/accommodation expenses covered)
  • The chance to join a close-knit, agile team doing meaningful, user-led work with visible impact
  • High autonomy and ownership from day one - potential to go permanent if it's a mutual fit
