Mid/Senior Backend Engineer Hybrid (3 days a week in central Bristol) TypeScript & Node.js Salary £60-75k

They're looking for an experienced backend-focused engineer, proficient with TypeScript & Node.js, and with some capability in frontend technologies like React & Next.js.

A standout candidate will be capable of designing, building, and maintaining complex features for their core product. You should thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, capable of scaling products quickly and supporting various parts of the tech stack as needed. Working on this type of innovative product from an early stage is rare and exciting, especially as the company is revenue-generating and well-funded.

What you'll need

1. Strong backend development experience with TypeScript & Node.js
2. Experience with Nest.js is a bonus but not essential
3. Experience with AWS or alternative cloud technologies
4. Some knowledge of React/Next.js, with the ability to support frontend elements when required
5. Experience in a startup environment, with a solution-focused attitude
6. Willingness to work on a hybrid basis in Bristol (3 days a week in the office)
7. A passion for building cutting-edge solutions
8. Experience with Machine Learning or AI is a plus but not essential
