Position: Midday Supervisor
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: 14.24 - 15 per hour (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP / September

About the Role

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring pupils have a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime. You will supervise pupils across different areas of the school, encourage positive behaviour and help create a welcoming environment for children.

The Midday Supervisor role would suit someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for flexible school-based work. Previous school experience is beneficial but is not essential, making this a great opportunity to gain valuable experience within a Worksop school.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime
• Encourage positive behaviour and inclusive play
• Support younger pupils where required
• Help maintain a safe and well-structured environment
• Respond appropriately to minor incidentsSupport pupils' social development
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• A reliable, patient and approachable manner
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude towards working within a school
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
