Mid-Weight Creative Designer
Posted 1 hour 48 minutes ago by British Heart Foundation
Bring bold ideas to life as a Mid-Weight Creative Designer in the British Heart Foundation's Creative and Production Team. You'll create standout work that strengthens our brand, inspires audiences and supports our mission to fund lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases.
Working across digital, social, video and print, you'll turn ambitious briefs into engaging, audience-led creative. You'll collaborate with talented copywriters, marketers and videographers, while partnering with fundraising teams and colleagues from different specialisms across the charity.
No two days are the same: one day you could be shaping a major cross-channel campaign; the next, evolving brand guidance or producing compelling content for a new initiative. You'll have the opportunity to share ideas, develop your craft and build experience across an exceptional breadth of purposeful creative work.
This is your chance to combine conceptual thinking with practical delivery, broaden your portfolio and see your creativity make a meaningful difference.
About youWith proven experience of delivering creative projects from concept to completion, you'll be confident working with a good degree of autonomy in an in-house or agency environment. Your portfolio will demonstrate strong creative thinking, visual craft and ownership of design work, including content for social media, paid digital and organic campaigns.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud - particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign - is essential, alongside strong skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects. You'll also understand how to create effective content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, adapting your approach to each platform.
Organised, proactive and collaborative, you'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, balancing high-volume content with larger campaigns and working with external suppliers. You'll communicate ideas confidently, solve problems calmly and maintain excellent attention to detail, including grammar and spelling.
Above all, you'll be curious about design and technical innovation, motivated to push creative thinking further and committed to providing a thoughtful, professional service.
Working arrangementsThis is a 12-month fixed term contract, covering family leave. Start date is as soon as possible.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. Currently, the team's office day is on a Wednesday. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
