Contract: 7 months
Location: Westminster, London
Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the office, 1 day working from home

This is a *Westminster* Hybrid based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *Working closely with service desk, technical teams, users and external suppliers to resolve escalated incidents and requests.*
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Specialist to join a high-profile public sector organisation based in Westminster.
The successful candidate will provide specialist technical support, configuration and continuous improvement across the Microsoft 365 collaboration environment, helping users get the most from the organisations collaboration tools and services.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong Microsoft 365 knowledge who is comfortable working at 3rd-line support level, troubleshooting complex issues and designing/configuring collaboration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, design and configure new Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions based on user and business requirements.
- Provide 3rd-line technical support for Microsoft 365 and collaboration technologies.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including global platform configuration changes and work-around solutions.
- Work closely with service desk, technical teams, users and external suppliers to resolve escalated incidents and requests.
- Provide clear technical guidance, documentation and knowledge sharing to users and support teams.
- Ensure all technical changes and support activity follow appropriate governance, standards and procedures.
- Monitor support requests and ensure stakeholders are kept informed throughout the resolution process.
- Keep up to date with the Microsoft 365 roadmap, new functionality and emerging collaboration capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to improve how the organisation uses the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of collaboration services and processes.
- Provide line management/support to analysts where required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience working as a Microsoft 365/M365 Specialist, Collaboration Specialist, Modern Workplace Engineer or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience across the Microsoft 365 collaboration suite.
- Proven experience providing 3rd-line support for collaboration platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex M365 technical issues.
- Experience designing, configuring and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and global platform configuration.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, security and change processes.
- Ability to analyse user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working in a structured enterprise/public sector environment would be advantageous.
- Ability to work 4 days per week onsite in Westminster.
Desirable
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 roadmap and new product functionality.
- Experience improving adoption and utilisation of Microsoft 365 services.
- Previous experience within Parliament, government or wider public sector environments highly desirable.
- Experience managing or mentoring technical analysts.
