Microbiology Lab Team Lead - West Coast of Ireland - 12 Month Contract

Are you looking for the opportunity to work alongside a global pharmaceutical organisation in the West Coast of Ireland? Our esteemed client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Team Lead to join their team in their existing manufacturing facility. The facility is responsible for tablet manufacturing (OSD) and secondary packaging (blister packing and bottle primarily for tablets and capsules), and our client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Team Lead to help maintain manufacturing operations.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage the day to day operations of the QC Microbiology laboratory
• Oversee microbiological testing including environmental monitoring, sterility, and bioburden testing
• Drive investigations including deviations, OOS, and CAPA in line with GMP requirements
• Collaborate cross functionally with QA, manufacturing, and engineering teams

What you'll need:

• Degree in Microbiology or related Life Sciences discipline
• Extensive experience in a GMP regulated microbiology or QC laboratory
• Hands on experience with microbiological testing and investigations
• Previous leadership experience or strong senior ready to step into a team lead role
