Microbiology Lab Manager - West Coast of Ireland - 12 Month Contract

Our esteemed client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Manager to join their team in their existing manufacturing facility. The facility is responsible for tablet manufacturing (OSD) and secondary packaging (blister packing and bottle primarily for tablets and capsules), and our client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Manager to help maintain manufacturing operations.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage day-to-day microbiology laboratory operations within a GMP environment
• Oversee environmental monitoring, sterility and microbiological testing activities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain audit readiness
• Manage, develop, and performance lead a team of microbiology analysts

What you'll need:

• Strong experience in a GMP regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment
• Proven leadership experience within a microbiology or QC laboratory
• Hands on expertise in microbiological techniques such as EM, sterility, and endotoxin
• Experience managing deviations, CAPAs, and supporting regulatory inspections
