Microbiology Consultant Needed In North East England

Job Opportunity: Microbiology Consultant in North Yorkshire

On behalf of a hospital based in North Yorkshire, I am seeking an experienced Microbiology Consultant to start as soon as possible, covering a 3-month period. This locum position is likely to be extended.

Workload & Required Experience:

1. Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:00, with on-call duties approximately 1 in 4
2. Primarily onsite presence, with potential for some remote work
3. Work across two sites, approximately 1 hour apart by car

Additional Details:

• Good accommodation arrangements can be provided
• FRCPath (UK) or equivalent qualification required; CCT advantageous
• Accessible location via public transport and car
