We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician (Twilight) to join a reputable Accident Repair Centre located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire . Duties of an MET Technician:
  • Conduct mechanical, electrical, trim, and body component removal and refitting
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults accurately
  • Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer and insurer standards
  • Work efficiently to meet repair targets and deadlines
  • Perform comprehensive quality checks prior to vehicle completion
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Collaborate closely with Panel and Paint Technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements of an MET Technician:
  • Previous experience as an MET Technician is essential
  • Qualified to NVQ, IMI, ATA, or equivalent is preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical repair knowledge
  • Ability to perform efficiently within a busy bodyshop environment
  • High attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
