Merchandising Team Leader

We're looking for a Merchandising Team Leader in the Northampton area.

About the role:

You'll play a key role by supervising a field based team of 40 part time merchandisers by scheduling and monitoring day to day activity across your district, recruiting, onboarding and coaching your team to ensure work is delivered on time and to client standards.

Alongside supervision, you'll remain hands on in store, delivering merchandising activity in line with briefs and planograms and checking that products, displays, and POS materials are set up correctly and presented to a high standard.

Ideal Recruitment Area: Northampton

Areas Covered: Northampton and surrounding areas

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (18 hours team supervision, 12+ hours client merchandising)

Rate: £13.50 per hour for team supervisory tasks and £12.71 per hour for merchandising tasks

What makes you excellent:

• Full driving license and access to a vehicle
• Previous retail or merchandising experience
• Confident using mobile and desktop systems for scheduling, reporting, and communication
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to motivate and coach remote field based colleagues
• Clear and confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Strong relationship building skills with internal and external partners
