Merchandiser - International

Strong ownership of stock management and supply optimisation is essential, working closely with Business Units and channel teams to ensure efficient routes to market and strong availability. The role also champions consistent, scalable ways of working across international merchandising teams, embedding standardised processes and trading routines to deliver operational excellence. As a senior leader, the role builds and develops high performing teams, fostering commercial acumen, analytical rigour and long term capability.
This is a full time role based at our Paddington Support Office a minimum of three days a week.
What you'll doYour key accountabilities will include:
- Set and manage the Business Unit (BU) / department retail sales budget, generating and owning the Open to Buy (OTB) through Merchandising Financial Planning (MFP) in line with the commercial plan.
- Maintain and re forecast the Weekly Sales, Stock and Intake (WSSI) across all sales channels, with accountability for performance risks and opportunities.
- Analyse forward seasonal buys, working closely with channels to challenge and influence decisions to optimise trade and maximise sales.
- Own and deliver seasonal planning by channel and BU, supporting seasonal set up, monthly run rate monitoring, and in season stock and replenishment management.
- Lead, coach and develop International Merchandising teams, ensuring strong succession planning, capability development and a high performance merchandising culture.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing international merchandising teams, driving accountability and building strong capability.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret complex data and translate insight into effective trading actions using WSSI, MFP, BI dashboards and forecasting tools.
- High level of expertise in OTB management, intake phasing, stock flow planning, markdown optimisation and replenishment.
- Deep understanding of core trading metrics, including Rate of Sale (ROS), margin, cover and terminal stock, to support commercial decision making.
- Ability to build and influence strong cross functional relationships with channels, supply chain, finance, Business Units and international teams.
