MEP Operations Lead

Head of MEP / Director of Building Services

We are seeking a senior leader to take ownership of the MEP function across Data Centre and Non-Data Centre projects (schools, commercial, remediation).

This is a leadership role focused on delivery, people, and performance (not a pure technical position).

Role Overview

• Dublin-based (hybrid, regular office presence required)
• Lead MEP across all project sectors (DC + Non-DC)
• Manage senior engineers, associates, and project teams
• Oversee delivery standards, coordination, and QA
• Work closely with senior leadership on structure, growth, and hiring

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and structure the MEP team across all divisions
• Own project delivery quality and coordination
• Implement governance, standards, and QA processes
• Support senior client engagement (incl. Tier 1 clients)
• Drive commercial awareness (scope, margins, risk)
• Develop future leadership within the team

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years' experience in MEP / Building Services consultancy
• Currently at Technical Director / Associate Director / Head of Department level
• Proven experience leading teams (not just delivering projects)
• Strong background in large-scale and complex projects
• Experience with Tier 1 clients and multidisciplinary teams

• Strategic-level thinking beyond technical design
• Proven multidisciplinary coordination experience
• Data centre experience
• International project exposure
• Experience building or restructuring teams

Package

• €120k - €140k base (DOE)
• Pension + performance bonus
