Membership ManagerLocation: Central London (hybrid working)Contract: Permanent Full-timeSalary: £42000The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Membership Manager to lead a busy membership and registration function within a professional membership organisation. This role is ideal for a customer-focused manager who enjoys leading teams, improving processes and ensuring the delivery of an efficient, high-quality service to members and stakeholders.The Role Reporting to the Head of Registration, you will be responsible for overseeing membership operations, maintaining the integrity of membership records and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes. You will lead a small team while ensuring excellent customer service and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include: • Leading and developing the Membership team, ensuring workloads are effectively managed and service standards are consistently achieved • Managing membership and registration queries, delivering a responsive and solutions-focused service • Overseeing annual renewal processes in collaboration with Finance and Customer Service teams • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of membership records through audits, quality assurance checks and data cleansing exercises • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and service delivery across the department • Managing and supporting small-scale projects and process improvement initiatives • Acting as a key point of contact for professional conduct and membership-related queries • Serving as the department's Risk Management Champion and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Lead • Producing and analysing management information and statistical data to support operational decision-making • Supporting wider departmental activities as requiredAbout YouEssential: • Previous people management experience, ideally leading a small team • Experience managing a varied workload and meeting competing deadlines • Strong customer service skills with a solutions-focused approach • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organisational and administrative abilities • Excellent attention to detail, with strong writing and drafting skills • Experience working with databases and CRM systems • Good analytical skills and experience producing or interpreting performance data • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to work collaboratively both in person and remotelyDesirable: • Experience working within a membership or professional body environment • Experience handling sensitive or confidential data • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements • Digital systems, process improvement or transformation experience • Degree-level education or equivalent experienceMorgan Spencer - Your Career, Our Expertise Morgan Spencer is one of London's leading Executive Secretarial and Business Support recruitment consultancies, connecting high-calibre professionals with outstanding opportunities.Equal Opportunities Morgan Spencer is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.Confidentiality & GDPR All applications are handled in strict confidence and in full compliance with UK GDPR.
