The company has developed a novel gene expression test that evaluates tumor aggressiveness and predicts metastasis risk - empowering clinicians and patients to make informed treatment decisions.
About the RoleAs Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Benelux, you will be the scientific bridge between the company and the medical community across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
You will engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and hospital stakeholders, driving awareness and adoption of advanced diagnostic products for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- KOL & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and strengthen relationships with oncologists, pathologists, and other KOLs.
- Provide scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals.
- Scientific Education & Communication
- Deliver presentations, workshops, and webinars on diagnostic innovations.
- Communicate clinical data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Sales & Business Partnership
- Support Sales teams with scientific insights to retain and grow accounts.
- Promote adoption of diagnostic tests in hospitals and pathology labs.
- Clinical Research Support
- Collaborate on the design, implementation, and interpretation of clinical trials.
- Contribute to abstracts, publications, and scientific presentations.
- Regulatory & Reimbursement Support
- Assist with clinical documentation and reimbursement submissions.
- Provide medical input for regulatory filings and product approvals.
- Scientific & Medical Marketing
- Contribute to marketing and communication strategies.
- Represent the company at congresses, symposiums, and patient advocacy events.
- Stay current with oncology trends, scientific advances, and reimbursement landscapes in the Benelux region.
- PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent degree with 3 years of experience, or
- Licensed healthcare professional (RN, NP, PA) with a Master's degree and 5 years of oncology experience (breast cancer experience preferred).
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an MSL or similar customer-facing medical role.
- Proven Sales and Business Development acumen.
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Regulatory).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across Benelux for hospital visits, KOL meetings, and conferences.
- Excellent presentation and data interpretation abilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and digital engagement tools.
- Understanding of Benelux healthcare systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Salary: Up to €110,000 per year
- Bonus: 10% of gross annual salary
- Contract: Permanent, full-time (32-40 hours per week)
- Mobility Budget: €1,300 gross/month for travel or car expenses
