Medical Receptionist

An exciting opportunity is available to join our busy GP Practice based in Bathgate, West Lothian. This is a part time position of 20 hours per week, 2pm-6pm, Monday - Friday.

We are looking for a team-player who is conscientious, flexible, with excellent communication, good time management skills and a good sense of humour. You should have good organisational skills, as well as initiative, enthusiasm, flexibility and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will be expected to deal with patients via telephone and face to face, sometimes in challenging situations. A sympathetic approach to the needs of our patient is essential whilst being professional. You will deal with a wide variety of disciplines at all levels. You should have the ability to prioritize your work, with a good understanding of computer systems being essential.

Experience in a clinician setting preferred but not essential. Full training will be given.
