Job Description
We are a small, friendly, and forward-thinking GP practice seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist / Administration Assistant.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and IT skills, along with a solid understanding of administrative processes. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the practice, supporting both patients and clinical staff.
Key Duties Include:- Providing a professional, confidential and welcoming reception service
- Signpost patients to the most appropriate clinician / service
- Processing prescription requests
- Process new registrations as per practice protocols
- Process incoming and outgoing mail/emails
- Handling patient enquiries in person, by phone, and online
- Carrying out general administrative tasks
- Audio typing and document management
Salary: Dependent on experience
