Medical Receptionist - 25 hours

We are a friendly practice located in Barrhead Health & Care Centre, only a 10-minute drive from the M77, with accessible parking and a 10-minute walk from the train station, plus an excellent bus service.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable team member. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Applicants must be computer literate, have excellent communication skills, the ability to use their initiative, be able to work under pressure, and work as part of a team. The successful candidate must respect confidentiality and promote a positive and professional image for the practice.

Responsibilities

• Deal with patients at reception and any telephone enquiries
• Make appointments
• Signpost to other services
• Generate repeat prescriptions
• Scan and file hospital correspondence
• Perform general admin duties

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 1pm - 6pm. No lone working. The applicant must be flexible and willing to cover holidays and sick leave.
