Medical Receptionist - 24 hours

Overview

The Wood Medical Practice is a busy, friendly and patient-focused medical practice committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to our local community. We are currently seeking a reliable, professional and caring receptionist to join our front of house team.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, manage appointment bookings, and handle queries
• Accurately maintain and work with clinical data and patient records
• Maintain confidentiality and patient dignity at all times
• Work well under pressure and within a team environment

Qualifications

• Excellent IT, communication and organisational skills
• Confident, courteous and friendly approach to patients, doctors and other team members over the telephone and in person
• Previous experience working within a busy surgery or hospital environment would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be given

Working Hours

Monday 8am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-12pm, Thursday 1pm-5pm and Friday 8am-5pm
