Medical Manager - Oncology and Haematology

We are looking for a Medical Manager - Oncology and Haematology to join our team. You will lead and deliver medical strategy and activities for Oncology and Haematology in Ireland. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Commercial, Market Access and Communications & Government Affairs Pharmacovigilance and Quality. Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK GSK In this role you will Act as the medical lead for Oncology and Haematology activities in Ireland leading a team of highly motivated medical affairs professionals to translate global strategies into local impact. Act as Ireland Medical representative for Oncology and Haematology with GSK North West Area leadership and Regional Medical Organisation reporting on key performance indicators, proposing and responding to cross functional team project plans. Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, academic centres and other external stakeholders. Support medical launches and lifecycle activities, including market access, medical education, evidence generation and scientific communications. Provide medical governance and ensure all activities comply with GSK policies and local regulations. Generate and share medical insights to inform regional and global strategy and operational plans. Support GSK-sponsored research, clinical research partnerships, investigator-sponsored studies and real world evidence initiatives.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or related discipline (for example MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc) or equivalent clinical/scientific experience.
• Direct Oncology or Haematology medical affairs experience aligned to the GSK portfolio and/or pipeline.
• Minimum three years' experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Demonstrable experience engaging in scientific exchange with external experts and clinical stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to medical strategy, launch readiness or evidence generation activities.
• Strong understanding of clinical data, evidence-based medicine and medical communications.
• Experience leading medical activities for product launches and lifecycle management.
• Experience working in a matrix environment with cross functional and global teams.
• Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Clinical background in Oncology or Haematology.
• Experience supporting MAH-sponsored studies, investigator-sponsored research and/or real-world evidence projects.
• Familiarity with reimbursement and access pathways for Oncology Medicines in Ireland.
• Prior people management or mentoring experience.
• Working Arrangement: You will work from the GSK office in Citywest with flexibility on home working combined with external engagement. Travel within Ireland and internationally is required to engage stakeholders and attend scientific meetings.

Irish Salary Range: EUR 90,000 to EUR 150,000 The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
