Medical Director, Europe - Rare Diseases & Osteoporosis

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Medical Director for Europe to lead our Medical Affairs function across the region. This is a pivotal role that bridges science and strategy, working in close partnership with the Commercial Department to drive the success of our biosimilar portfolio, with a focus on rare diseases and osteoporosis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the European medical affairs strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
• Act as a strategic business partner to commercial teams, using scientific data to support market access, positioning, and sales strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with field medical teams, marketing, market access, and regulatory affairs.
• Serve as the medical expert for the region, providing insights and guidance based on clinical data and market dynamics.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment between headquarters and local affiliates.
• Represent the company at key scientific and medical congresses across Europe.
• Navigate the biosimilar landscape, leveraging existing clinical data to support commercial success

Qualifications

• MD degree is required.
• Proven experience in medical affairs within the rare disease and/or osteoporosis therapeutic areas.
• Strong understanding of the European healthcare landscape and regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with commercial teams and contribute to business strategy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel across Europe as needed.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
