Medical and Research Team Administrator

St Margaret's Hospice Care offers a part time, permanent role for a Medical and Research Team Administrator based in Taunton. The position requires 15 hours per week and offers a competitive salary of £11,547.72 per annum.
What you will doProvide professional, efficient and confidential administration and coordinated support to the medical and research team at the Taunton site. Responsibilities include secretarial tasks, diary management, operational support, general administration, onboarding of new staff and medical trainees, and contributing to process improvement.
Your day to day duties will involve:
- Organising bookings, training sessions, courses, meetings and associated logistics for the medical team, including rota management.
- Supporting onboarding, induction and exit processes for clinical staff and medical student placements.
- Assisting with quality improvement and research activities of the Senior medical team/Head of Research by providing administrative support.
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes and coordinating follow up actions for meetings chaired by the medical team.
- Ability to create and manage spreadsheets for audits, data tracking and reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel functions to analyse and interpret data for decision making.
- Skill in formatting and preparing documents using Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience and thorough understanding of Microsoft Teams.
- Develop templates and improve administrative processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Accurate and meticulous record keeping.
