About Your New Role

They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Team Lead to manage the mechanical maintenance operations across a multi-site portfolio based in North Dublin City. This hands on role combines people management, technical leadership, contractor oversight and client facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 5 mechanical maintenance technicians, including performance management and KPI delivery.
• Supervise on site contractors to ensure works meet technical, quality and health & safety standards.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for clients, coordinating issue resolution across sites.
• Work closely with Service Desk and Planned Maintenance teams to optimise workflows and service delivery.
• Provide hands on technical support and leadership for complex mechanical and building services issues.
• Carry out technical site inspections, assessments and surveys, producing scopes and quotations.
• Manage costs, value engineering and technical risk assessments for maintenance and project works.
• Implement energy efficiency initiatives across mechanical systems.
• Develop and maintain method statements and technical documentation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in service delivery.
• Participate in flexible working arrangements and an on call rota.

What You Need

• Relevant mechanical trade qualification. (Essential)
• Strong experience in mechanical facilities management.
• Excellent client facing communication skills.
• Experience preparing costs, proposals and detailed scopes of work.
• Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety and regulatory requirements.
