Job Description
Mechanical Site Manager - Dublin

Our client, a leading mechanical services contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join their growing team on a major healthcare project based in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join a well-established company delivering high-profile mechanical and HVAC projects across Ireland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of projects in line with contract requirements, project timelines, company quality standards, and construction regulations.
  • Attend project handover meetings and assist in the development of QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documentation.
  • Set up and maintain the Site Office and Stores to a high standard throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate mechanical services installations and builders work drawings.
  • Issue bi-weekly P&T HILTI reports.
  • Maintain the master requisition schedule.
  • Order materials and coordinate plant deliveries to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Record deliveries, liaise with suppliers, and manage delivery documentation.
  • Manage subcontractors and direct site staff, ensuring safety, quality, and installation standards are maintained.
  • Support Project Engineers in delivering QA documentation and milestone requirements.
  • Attend site meetings and daily coordination meetings with the main contractor.
  • Assist the Contracts Manager with project programming and scheduling.
  • Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical services.
  • Manage project close-out activities and site decant procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous project management or site management experience delivering HVAC/mechanical installations on healthcare projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical services and construction site operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Full driving licence required.
